What Photo Extractor does

Photo Extractor is a Chrome extension that extracts images from web pages and saves selected images to your Downloads folder with structured filenames. It is designed for travel advisors and researchers who need to collect and organize photos from travel booking sites.

Permissions used

• downloads - Used to save selected images to your local Downloads/travel-photos/ folder. No files are uploaded or sent anywhere.
• storage - Used to remember your last-used destination, vendor, category, and year form fields between sessions, so you do not have to retype them. This data is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted.

Data collection

Photo Extractor does not collect, transmit, or share any data. All image processing and file saving happens entirely within your local browser. There are no analytics, no tracking scripts, no telemetry, and no third-party services.

Data storage

The only data stored by the extension is your last-used form field values (destination, vendor, category, year), saved in Chrome's local storage API. This data never leaves your device and is cleared if you uninstall the extension.

Third-party services

Photo Extractor does not communicate with any external servers or third-party services. It operates entirely offline after installation.
